Aress Academy started as a concept in September of 2000 with a meeting over coffee at a Rams Horn Restaurant. The economy was in ruins, with tech companies hit especially hard. There were great stock market losses and low confidence from investors and managers worldwide. Maybe you remember it.
The first class was held in March 2001. The school started by offering only one class - the Cisco CCNA - and found that people had a deep desire to better themselves with good technical education. We found that people wanted to become certified and that they wanted to work. For the first two years, Aress Academy offered only technology-driven courses. Soon thereafter, they added programs in Healthcare and Office Automation.
Throughout the nine year experience, the company has not lost sight of its origins as a faith-based company that values honesty and integrity above all else.
Today, Darren is Director of Enrollment Services and Asif is Director of Operations. They have added a wonderful staff of administrators and faculty. One thing to note about Aress Academy - our staff and 90% of our faculty are employees of the company, not contractors! That means they work full time for the school and that makes a big difference to you - the student. Some school use 90% part time contractors. We don;t. We care more. We try harder. We succeed more.
The school has kept its name throughout its tenure, while other schools have gone through "changes". For instance, Abcott Institute used to be "Digitrain" not too long ago. Whenever a company changes its name, you need to think twice, as industry experts say. You can trust Aress Academy to be here for the long run.
