The CNA program at Aress Academy is simply the best CNA program you will ever find. If you do go somewhere else, you will be doing yourself a great disservice. Your future self will be mad with you.

What's a CNA?
The State calls it "Competency-Evaluated Nursing Assistant". It's a job without a lot of thanks. It's a job for a special someone, someone that cares. It's almost like a calling, like being a Priest or a Teacher - most people don't find their careers as Nursing Assistants - their careers find them.
You're caring for others. If you're not the type that likes to care for others, please do not do this job and don't take this class. It's probably better off that you're not a Nursing Assistant anyways. The field won't miss you.
But if you are that rare type that cares, that has compassion, a heart, and is kind - even to total strangers - then this field is for you.
Only happy people need apply. Happy people that care about others. That eliminates about 99.9% of the human race so your job will always be there - you'll always be in demand.
The money's ok but it's not great. Some places pay $14.00 per hour, while others have great benefits. You can make about $30,000 in a year - that's not too bad. - not too bad for a three week class.
Imagine that! Your $500 transforms itself into a $30,000 annual salary - and in just three weeks - unimaginable but true!
There are people out there who've been CENAs all their life. Ask them and they'll tell you. They're satisfied with life - and that's the secret. They'll tell you that's the key. If you keep wanting stuff, you're never going to be happy nor satisfied, and then where does that leave you?

I know some Nurse Aides that go on to get their LPNs and RNs - it's certainly true. There are many CNA-LPN-RN types out there. That should be your motivation. Leave the 30 Gs behind and work on 70 Gs. Seventy sounds a whole lot better than 30 on any given payday.

Listen to me: Be a CENA for a while, and just go on to College and work on your RN license. It's just a couple of years and then? Then you're on top of the world.

Our Nurse Aides are trained right, from start to finish. First, we talk about humanity and take it from there. Then we teach the correct manner and etiquette of each service they will perform on future patients. We practice over and over again. When our students graduate, they've earned something to be proud of - a certificate from Aress Academy.

Phlebotomy: fləˈbätəmē/ The surgical opening or puncture of a vein in order to withdraw blood or introduce a fluid, or (historically) as part of the procedure of letting blood.
Phlebotomy is a great skill to have. The ability to draw blood from another human being is a skill much in demand. That's because the vast majority of human beings on this planet do not want to fiddle with it. That puts you at a distinct advantage when it comes to getting a goof job anf keeping it.
A good phlebotomist is almost worshipped. Management, staff, and doctors all breathe a deep sigh of relief when the best phlebotomist on the roster shows up to work. That's how it is. You too can be revered at work. Learn the art of Phlebotomy.
